CLIPP Academy: Introduction to the Clinical Instructor Role
The CLIPP Academy is designed to facilitate role transition for clinical experts interested in becoming clinical faculty. The Academy is composed of two phases: a 12-week long didactic phase, followed by a 6-week long virtual residency. In the first phase, participants complete microlearning modules composed of pre- and post-self efficacy surveys, recommended readings and resources, learning videos, reflective discussions, and an objective assessment. The virtual residency that follows affords participants the opportunity to demonstrate competency in the content through exposure to simulated scenarios they are likely to encounter in their practice as a clinical instructor.
